Gregory Camp is making a lot of green off his big blue truck.
Camp works for the start-up company, Bunjii.
This is how it works. You just get the Bunjii app. You put in your pick up and drop off location. Take a picture of your stuff. And help is on the way.
Bunjii CEO Harrison Proffitt says Atlanta is the second city where he’s launching his business.
“Atlanta has taken our business great. in the past four months we already have over a hundred drivers on our platform and we’ve already completed over 3,000 deliveries. so we’re growing and we’re growing quickly,” said Proffitt.
We’re learning outside of San Francisco and New York, Atlanta is the hottest start-up hub in the country.
Jennifer Sherer of the Metro Atlanta Chamber says start-ups are having a huge economic impact.
“Georgia companies attracted $1.7 billion in venture capital funding last year,” said Sherer.
Thats double the dollars than the year before and a number that’s predicted to rise even more this year.
